Davidson Homes provides Alternative Family Living (AFL), and other Waiver Services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) with the goal of helping those individuals exercise their rights in the community. We strive to maintain a high degree of competence in the services that we provide. It is our goal to aid in the effort to allow those whom we serve to live as productive citizens and participate in educational, social, and employment opportunities in the community. We specializes in the area of AFL and respite services. This degree of specialization allows us to provide superior service and support to those whom we serve. As experienced AFL providers, we feel that quality of care is a priority. We provide training programs and outcome monitoring for all of our providers and support staff in order to maintain the utmost level of quality in the care that we provide.

What is Developmental Disability?
A "developmental disability" is a severe, chronic disability of a person five years of age or older which --
1. is attributable to a mental or physical impairment or combination of mental or physical impairments;
2. is manifested before the person attains age twenty-two;
3. is likely to continue indefinitely;
4. results in substantial functional limitations in three or more of the following areas of major life activity:
